Update on my wee guy

Good evening all,
Sorry i don't have a card to post but i should be back tomorrow with a card but i'd thought i'd let you all know my wee guy John is doing alot better he was put on steroids on Wednesday and then on Thursday another trip to the doctor and he has been put on a steriod inhaler which has made is breathing so much better....you might even see my story in the newspapers soon if the council don't get there backside up here and sorts out the damp and rotten floorboards i have in this house i think this is causing some of my son's breathing difficulties i'm not a happy momma at the minute.

I would also like to say a BIG thank you to a dear blogging friend Shirley (nannieflash) for the blog candy i won i can't wait to get playing with it !!! 

Fingers crossed i will be back tomorrow with a card as John should be back at nursery and i will get some chilling time to get some cards done.

No posts for a couple of days

Good evening ladies

I am sorry i have not posted any cards in the past couple of days my wee guy is poorly again as you know he was in hospital 3 weeks ago with breathing difficulties well his breathing has not been good the past couple of days i had him at the doctors today and he has been put on steroids so hopefully they will work FINGERS CROSSED we don't end up back in hospital.

I will still try and get round everyone's blog but i will not be doing any cards in the next couple of days i will be concentrating on John.

Papertake Weekly Challenge Card

Hello again Ladies

Yes finally i have finished Sinead's card and i am entering it in Papertake weekly Challenge - When is a card not a card....my card is a card with a pocket inside which is holding Front Row Tickets for Myself and Sinead to go and see JLS at the SECC in April, she actually thinks i couldn't get tickets and it's sold out so i think she will be over the moon on Christmas morning...this card i haven't stamped any images and i have had create my own backing paper so without further ado here it is...

Sorry it is another late post but i've been a busy bee today, i've NEARLY finished Sinead's Card so hopefully that will be posted soon it's seem to be taking forever lol...i have actually been and done some Christmas shopping today not much more to do but i'm going to wait until the lights are switched on and there is Christmas music in the shops i hate Christmas shopping without the music.

Again this is another image i got on a disc from my mum i have coloured with my pro markers and i have just went around the edges with my glue pen and covered with some red glitter i hope this is simple enough.

Good afternoon Ladies

I am just home from taking John to nursery so while i have some peace and quiet i am going to get a bit of crafting done....this card i have made for 2 challenges Crafty Catz - A digital Image and Winterwonderland - A Christmas Mouse.....

This digital image i got of a disc my mum sent me through from Edinburgh and the papers are from A Christmas classic (my Craft Studio) i am just loving having a printer being able to print all these papers and digi images, my cards should be alot different now and not just the same thing over and over again lol anyway thats me away back to my card making i might be back later with some more creation...have a nice afternoon love and hugs Nikki xxx

What a miserable morning it is here in Dundee, i think it will be a day of crafting for me :)

This card is my GDT card for Try it on Tuesday and the theme is Anything Goes - Wish you Were Here...My card is a Christmas card and it will be going to my little brother in Afghan....i have used a digi image that my mum sent my through on a disc and the backing papers are off of my craft studio A Christmas Classic so without further ado here is my card....

Cute Card Thursday Challenge Card

Good Evening Ladies

Sorry i have not been around but as i mentioned in my last post my 4 year old son was taken into hospital lastweek with breathing difficulty's but thank goodness he is fully fit again had him at the doctors on Thursday and his chest is completely clear....so now i am going to get some serious crafting done my wonderful mum bought me a new printer on Friday and sent LOADS of my craft studio disc's through from Edinburgh so i have been sitting installing them into my laptop, so tonight i have managed to print out some lovely backing papers for my card tonight.

This card is for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge -  Reds for Remeberance

 My mum sent me the stamp for this card whom will hopefully be back blogging after Christmas fingers crossed anyway.

Today i actually attended the remeberace parade in Dundee City Centre as my daughter was in it she is now in the army cadets must say i am a very proud mum and sister as my 19 year old brother is currently doing a 6 month tour of afghan but he is back next Saturday for some well deserved  R+R so it will be good to see him.

Sorry i'm not about !!

Good Evening Ladies,

Sorry i am not posting a card and i probably won't be for a few days as my son got taken in to hospital on Wednesday night he is home now but it was a scary few days he actually ended up  in the HDU, he has a viral infection but he wasn't getting enough oxygen into his system he was on a heart monitor and oxygen mask but thankfully he is on the mend, so the next few days we are going to be relaxing and doing his physio to clear his chest i will hopefully get a couple of cards done and posted for the end of the weekif not i will be back at the start of next week

This is going to be a short post my laptop is playing up agai i have tried to post this 6 times now and everything keeps deleting grrrr....


This is not a card it is a Tag which i am going to use as a bookmark....this is for the Try it on Tuesday Challenge which is a Tag and the theme is Peace and Tranquility....this to me is my peace and tranquility, reading (bookmark) while having a lovely cup of tea i have also done it in my favorite colour....here it is.......

Winterwonderland Challenge Card

Finally i am getting this card posted...my goodness what a carry on i have had with this blooming laptop it seem to have a mind of it's own i tried to post this 5 times lastnight the last time i had everything done went to publish it and everything disappeared so i gave up...so i am hoping this one will work lol....

Anyway down to the card i have made this card for the Winterwonderland Challenge and the theme is The Colours of Autum......

I hope everyone has had a nice weekend, i have had a really quiet chilling weekend, i have been sat at my craft desk all last night and all afternoon and all i have managed to do is one card but i have stamped and coloured a lot of images so hopefully i will get a few cards put together tonight.

Angel Christmas Card

Sorry it's another late night posting for me but my son John is still not well, i had him to the doctors today and it seems it's not hand's foot and mouth he has it is a bad chest infection, the poor wee thing but he is now sound asleep and hopefully he will sleep all night now he is taking antibiotics.

Good Evening Ladies....Sorry it is such a late post tonight, it's been such a stressful day here...my 4 year old son has a viral infection called hand's, foot and mouth it's such a shame his mouth is covered in spots and from what i have heard his hand and feet will get spots too he also has a really bad cough along with that but now he is finally asleep i have been able to make a card with a load of crafting goodies my mum sent me through from Edinburgh...so everything i have used on this card is with what i got from my mum, i wish she was still blogging i miss her on this but i do send her pictures of every card i make.

I have certainly got the card making bug back again which is even better now that i have a desk !!! My wonderful Mother in Law bought me one today and it is great i now have a place for everything.


I hope everyone has been having a lovely weekend so far, i treated myself to some new stamps and paper's today so i have been having a great time playing at my new desk..


Anyway let's get on with the card this one is for the Cards for Men challenge and this week's theme is Sports, i hope mines is ok as i didn't have a suitable stamp for this but this is what i have come up with.....

Good Evening All !!!
Hope you have all had a nice day,i have been working today and then had to go off to the doctor's earlier tonight as i have come out in a LOAD of spot's (not amused) but thankfully it's nothing serious just an allergic reaction to something most probably my shampoo as it is now getting made with a new formula.


Anyway enough about me !! This card i have made 12 of for the wee boy's in my son's nursery, i figured this image would be perfect...i actually done these yesterday morning just never got a chance to post this lastnight...i was planning on doing the girl's card's between tonight and tomorrow but i have been to busy and tomorrow i need to go into work so i it will have to wait till tomorrow night.

Me to You Card

Hi Guy's....i know it has been a LONG time, sorry i have not been around i had to get rid of my crafting desk and pack all my crafting stuff away into a corner, i just don't have the room but hopefully i'll have a bigger house soon (i'm near top of the list now yipee) and i will be able to get a new desk and things, so last night i decided it was time to haul everything out and make some card's so from about 8 O'clock lastnight i have been sat on my couch and using my coffee table as a desk not the most comfortable but need's must !!! 


This is the first creation i have come up with i have used my free Me to You stamp and my Me to You paper's i am really happy with the result seen as i have not done any thing for a while.


So while John is away to nursery i am off to do some more crafting i will nip around everyone's blog's later for a wee nosey to see what i have been missing....love and hugs Nikki xxxxx

I'm Back !!!!

Good morning ladies...i am really sorry i have not been blogging i have not been making cards recently i have no where to craft everything is packed away in boxes i just have no room for anything in this tiny flat but lastnight i decided to get some things out and do some crafting the only down side was that i had to do it sitting on the floor (very sore back !!!) but i did manage to do 3 cards i will post one just now and i will post the rest later once i'm home from work....i have made this card for my mum as i have not seen her in a very long time....it is not the greatest of pictures (it says miss you) but i stamped this out with my Hawthorn and Bramble stamps and coloured it in with my new pro markers that i got from my mum....so here it is.......
